Swimwear is not one of my favorite things to wear, but I decided this summer since I was going on a short staycation at the Holiday Inn Resort in Fort Walton Beach, Fl, I would get myself a one piece bathing suit and be brave. Be brave for me because I am subconscious about the weight that I’ve gained and showing all of my “imperfections”. I’ve struggled with maintaining my weight over the last couple of years and the battle still rages on, one time tipping the scale at 183 pounds in my 5’5″ frame.
THE REAR VIEW
It seems that we are so busy looking at ourselves from the front, that we don’t take the time to take a rear view of ourselves. If you ever want to know what you look like from the back, take a rear pic. It will tell you everything that you need to know about yourself from the rear. 🙂 I had no idea that with this swimsuit on, I would look like this from the rear, especially with an additional 40 pounds that I’ve gained. I must say, I was in for a surprise, but it lets me know that I have work to do to accomplish my goal for a healthier me, and losing the weight that I’ve gained is the start.
I’ve now covered up my swimwear, with a swimsuit lace cover up which I found at marshalls And now that I have revealed my plus size figure to the world, I will be on my way to working on living a more healthier way of life and take off these extra pounds. To help in this process, I’ve teamed up with a friend who is working on losing weight as well. We agreed to support each other in this endeavor. Stay tuned for upcoming progress.
