Hello Lovelies, I hope you are having a joyful day!

I love looking in my closet when I’m trying to put an outfit together, and the “gray mix” shared purchase was one for the taking.  I always seem to find something that will bring an outfit out and make it a complete piece.  With this outfit, I’ll call it the “Gray Mix”.  The reason I call it the “gray mix” is because the dress is gray and the scarf compliments the dress with its array of black and gray mixed colors. This dress, I feel, can be worn for any occasion.  Its great for the office, church, and an evening out.

My sister was visiting with me from out of town recently.  I took her to one of my favorite shopping spots in the Wesley Chapel area.  We strolled the streets of The Shops at Wiregrass and visited several stores.  One of the stores we spent sometime in is Charming Charlie.  If you’ve shopped in Charming Charlie’s, you know they have all sorts of matching accessories laid out for you. They also carry clothing items as well.  With me being the self-proclaimed BudgetnistHer(one who always look for a shopping bargain), the sales rack is usually my first stop. I always look for items on sale, no matter what clothing store I’m in, and today was no exception. My eyes were wide open for a blast of a bargain!

As we walked the sidewalks of The Shops at Wiregrass and did our sister shopping, we stopped in Charming Charlie and searched the racks where we finally came upon this little gray dress. This dress was on the buy one get one half price.  So we decided that we liked it, after trying it on, I made the purchase.  The dress had a $20 price tag on it with 50% off.  With this, we were able to pay $10 each for this gray dress.  We split the cost on the dress because we had to buy two in order to get the extra discount. So if you are ever out shopping with a friend or a family member, and you both find something that you like and its a BOGO half price, buy it!  I did this before with a cousin on a pair of shoes and it works great for the two of you.  I’ll call it, shared purchasing. Now usually this is not a planned thing, its something that can just happen when you’re out shopping.

As I thought about putting this ensemble together, I was looking for another scarf in my scarf box to go with the dress, and wow, what do I find, this black and gray mixed colored scarf. What a perfect match!   And the most fantastic part about it,  it still had its new tag on it, however, I can’t remember when I purchased it, but it was from Charming Charlie.

I paired the scarf, and dress with black suede BCBGeneration boots which I purchased at Dillard’s during a late Spring shoe sale. I was able to get these $100 plus boots for around $37.  Like I said, I just love a bargain. Red purse, purchased online from Macy’s(not recent).

So there you have it, my “gray mix”  style $hared purchase.

We would love to hear about your $hared purchase experience.
