BLOCKS AND STRIPES
Wearing this block striped pencil skirt on this cold and windy day in Florida was a breeze as I set out on this photo shoot journey. Even though I was hoping for a day of less wind and warmer temperature, I took it like the woman I am, braving the temperatures of 45-50 degrees and winds that made it feel much cooler in the Tampa Bay area.
Oh my, this blocked striped pencil skirt is just perfect for any occasion. Its perfect for work, after work, or an evening out. This multi-colored skirt is by NYCC(New York Clothing Company). I purchased it about five months ago, I believe I found it at Burlington Coat Factory and its been just hanging in my closet since that time, finally getting a chance to wear it. It was affordable and it fits well. It hugs the body and fits just at the knee.
PERSONAL PENCIL SKIRT STYLE
This personal pencil skirt style is one of comfort. It has an elastic waistband that matched the print and you just pull it on and it wraps around your hips for a flattering fit. I wanted the right blouse to wear with it, but I paired it up with an off the shoulder Susan Lawrence sleeveless black top that’s been part of my closet for a few years now. So I mixed an old piece with the new, which you will find in a lot of my personal style ensembles in my posts.
